Inspired by the Odate sharpening stone tub, this box was designed to elevate sharpening stones on their holders and provide storage when not in use. Pine throughout with walnut handles. Stone holders are Fir. Plans available here.

Water Tight

Water Tight

Joinery was chosen so that this tub could hold water directly. Moisture, causing the joints to swell, seals the box further.

Dawn and Dusk

Dawn and Dusk

The transition between heartwood and sapwood in air-dried Black Walnut is a beautiful interplay between cream, chocolate, grey, and purple hues. One handle represents dawn, sharpen your tools, the other dusk, put them away!
