Crafting Wood with Japanese Techniques
Nestled in the high country west of the San Luis valley in Saguache, a large cedar sauna welcomes and rejuvenates guests of New Sky Ranch. Composed of western red cedar and Japanese sugi cedar, this structure was built by students of the 2025 Colorado Japanese Carpentry and Timber Framing workshop.
